18th Century Ensemble

Smaller musical ensembles are available through the Pittsburgh Historical Music Society to perform at historical sites, period galas, and private affairs. We have the following ensembles immediately available:

Wayward Companions - 18th Century

Features European art music, military music, fiddle tunes, folk songs, and tavern songs peformed on instruments popular during the Baroque period: baroque violin, harp, baroque flute, recorder, fife, voice, guitar, and drum.

Victorian Parlor Music - 19th Century

Stephen Foster songs, folk tunes, Civil War music, fiddle tunes, and parlor music performed on violin, 8 key simple system flute, flageolette, harp, piano, banjo, and guitar.

Traditional Scottish/Celtic
Scottish fiddle and harp music peformed in Highland Dress!
