Smaller musical ensembles are available through the Pittsburgh Historical Music Society to perform at historical sites, period galas, and private affairs. We have the following ensembles immediately available: Wayward Companions - 18th Century Features European art music, military music, fiddle tunes, folk songs, and tavern songs peformed on instruments popular during the Baroque period: baroque violin, harp, baroque flute, recorder, fife, voice, guitar, and drum. Victorian Parlor Music - 19th Century Stephen Foster songs, folk tunes, Civil War music, fiddle tunes, and parlor music performed on violin, 8 key simple system flute, flageolette, harp, piano, banjo, and guitar.
